Casual Role around Examination Seasons (November/January – March/May/June)
£13.05 per hour
We are looking to appoint Examination Invigilators to join us at The Hayfield School. The ideal candidates will have experience working with children and young people, have excellent skills in their field, be confident and organised with a calm and composed approach. Previous experience of working in a school would be an advantage but not essential. The successful candidates should be emotionally intelligent, have excellent interpersonal skills and be team players. The core purpose of the role is to ensure the smooth running of the examination process. In addition to ensuring correct exam procedures are followed, you will be responsible for setting out and collecting exam papers and materials, admitting students to the exam hall/room and invigilating. Duties may also include reading and scribing for students. Required to start as soon as possible, the successful candidate must have the ability to prioritise workload and to ensure strict deadlines are met. The ability to use your own initiative and also work collaboratively as part of a team is key.
