We would like to appoint a talented and committed Curriculum Technician to support the smooth running of practical subjects, in particular Science and Art. You would be joining thriving science/art departments with wonderful teams. The ideal person will be passionate about education and have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. We are looking for someone who is friendly and approachable and is capable of working independently using their own initiative. The successful candidate should have an excellent understanding of science and or art and previous practical experience is welcomed. Full training will be provided. Above all you must be relentlessly passionate about supporting and developing all students to achieve their potential.
We do have high expectations of staff and students, but we also expect them to be individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic and kindness and decency at every level. This is because we want all students to make really good progress and leave school with wonderful memories of their experiences. We want our staff to enjoy their work and really see the value in what they do. In return we seek every opportunity to develop staff. The school is situated in Auckley near Robin Hood Airport. It is a lovely part of Doncaster and really easy to get to and from. Our staff come from as far away as North Leeds, Sheffield, Scunthorpe and Nottinghamshire. It really is worth the journey.
