The school operates a cashless system (ParentPay) for meal payments.
ParentPay provides a convenient way for parents and carers to manage payments for school meals. Students can use their ParentPay balance to purchase food and drinks at school, with payments made securely in advance through the ParentPay system. Parents and carers can check their child’s balance and payment history online, helping them keep track of school meal spending. Please ensure that your child’s account has sufficient funds available for them to purchase food in school.

Eligible students receive £2.55 each school day towards the cost of their lunch. This amount is automatically added to their Parentpay account before lunchtime and is available to spend that day. Any unused portion of the £2.55 allowance does not carry over and the allowance resets each day.
If the cost of a student’s food and drink is more than the daily £2.55 allowance, the additional amount must be available in their ParentPay account and topped up before the purchase is made.

From 1 September 2026, the eligibility criteria for Free School Meals changed. Free School Meals are now available to all children and young people whose families receive Universal Credit.
There are two categories of eligibility:
Targeted Free School Meals (tFSM): This applies to children in households receiving Universal Credit where annual household earnings are £7,400 or less. In addition to Free School Meals, students who are eligible for tFSM may also qualify for additional support.
Expanded Free School Meals (eFSM): This applies to children in households receiving Universal Credit where annual household earnings are more than £7,400. Students who are eligible for eFSM will still receive their Free School Meal but will not qualify for the additional support linked to targeted eligibility,
