At The Hayfield School we take mental wellbeing very seriously and understand the complexities of this topic for children, young people and their families. This page has been developed to help navigate a way through some of the organisations and helplines that are available according to particular need. The organisations included are not exhaustive. Please remember that your GP and the NHS is there to offer professional care and guidance.
When the school is open and running as normal students and families will have access to several support mechanisms if they’re experiencing issues with mental wellbeing. Administration staff are in the building during normal school hours and will be able to take a message and pass on your queries.
Alternatively, if you need to speak to someone urgently regarding mental health concerns for you or someone else please contact our Safeguarding Team.
Students can contact the school nurse directly using the eClinic 11-19 instant messaging app. Parents can also contact the school nurse team using a dedicated app, eClinic Parent Plus. Parents can ask health related questions and receive live support from the school nurse.
Both eClinic apps can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
